Selling products and services online has skyrocketed in recent years. More and more we are making purchases online. Who would have thought that even buying a car is done entirely online? An e-commerce platform brings many advantages.
A webshop or e-commerce platform requires good preparation. It can be compared to opening an extra shop. To achieve a successful webshop launch, we work with our “bit by bit” approach. Within this approach, we put the visitor central. After all, this is the person who is going to make the purchase. The better we map out the target group, the better the webshop can be designed to suit it.
After identifying the target group(s) and the competition, we start with the visual appearance of the webshop. This should be in line with the existing business, if any. The branding of the online platform must be consistent and recognisable. This way, we create a familiar environment for the visitor. Trust contributes to purchase behaviour to a certain extent.
Anyway, we are not that far yet. After the design, we start developing and extensively testing the webshop. Just like the websites we develop, we also build the webshops based on WordPress. To achieve a functional webshop, we integrate Woocommerce. The e-commerce integration for WordPress. An easy-to-use platform with endless possibilities. A familiar environment we are completely at home in. Creating a payment module for iDeal, credit cards or Klarna. Generating invoices, packing slips or shipping labels. Or keeping track of stock is no problem at all.
